Who are the League of Friends?
The League of Friends is a charity whose purpose is to provide financial and personal support to the Aldeburgh and District Community Hospital in Aldeburgh Suffolk, UK.
The Charity is administered by a voluntary committee of trustees, elected each year
at an Annual General Meeting. The committee authorises new building,
refurbishment projects and equipment, as well as technology to improve the
well-being and comfort of patients. The League of Friends also maintains a
staff fund that ensures donations made specifically for the benefit of hospital
staff are used appropriately.
Our President is Mr Tony Bone and our Chair Mrs Mair Dawson
